WOMEN'S RIGHTS

Watch the video about the situation of women and their rights in the world. Can you answer the following questions?
  • What percentage of poor people are women?
  • Can women buy a house?
  • How much do they work? Like men do, twice as much or even three times as much.
  • 1200 million people live with less than 1$ a day. Can you tell me how much is that?
  • How many women can't read or write?

Is the situation in our society very different from most parts of the world? In what ways is it or is not? How do you feel about it?

Give it a minute’s thought and share it with all of us.
Suggest in what ways we could change the situation, things we could do to change it
